Shield AI in talks to raise at a valuation of at least $20B, up from $12.7B six months ago
The Information reported on September 14, 2026 that Shield AI is in talks for new funding at a valuation of at least $20 billion, roughly 57% above the $12.7 billion mark set by its $2 billion Series G that closed in March 2026. The report restates Shield AI's guidance of more than 80% revenue growth this year to at least $540 million, and notes its June $16 million V-BAT contract with the Polish navy. A $20B mark would reset secondary pricing benchmarks for the JPMorgan-backed defense startup.
