US Navy awards Saronic a production deal for 10 Marauder MUSVs in a $1.2B, 30-ship buy split among three Louisiana yards
On Sept. 29, 2026 the US Navy awarded firm-fixed-price production Other Transaction agreements under its Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel program to Saronic, HII and Galliano Marine Services (Edison Chouest). Each is for 10 vessels at an average $40M per vessel, or $1.2B for all 30. Saronic will build its 180-foot Marauder at its Franklin, Louisiana yard, with deliveries from as early as Q4 FY2027. The award makes Saronic one of three production builders for the Navy's medium unmanned surface vessel.
